JUNE 21, 2022 – “We have been very satisfied with the services provided by the management and staff at IGS/Prime Horizon. We know from experience that they will go out of their way to make things happen. Case in point, our son was in the apartment program for a lot of years, however, he was experiencing a variety of health and social setbacks. This all started about the time covid hit the U.S. Being a social guy, this was difficult for him to deal with long stays at home during the shutdown… Doctors were not really trying to see patients, so his situation worsened and when he did see Doctors, they did not know what was causing him such issues. We are thankful that the staff was able to get him to most appointments as we now live in northern WI. When a diagnosis was finally provided, our son was physically weak and mentally stressed and given a high dose of medication. That started the ball rolling. We had many meetings and finally it was decided by all involved that he should leave the apartment program and take residence in an IGS group home. He was very excited, and staff worked long and hard to get him moved and settled. It was extremely important that he get his meds on time and eat at regular intervals. The group home provided the needed 24 hour per day staff and they have gone out of their way to make our son feel welcome and to assist with his therapy appointment and exercises. He can still come up and spend time with us for long weekends. We have had an extremely positive relationship with the management and staff at IGS/Prime Horizon… We would like to say Thank you and encourage anyone needing their services to check them out.
